On a spooky Halloween afternoon, Wick took on South Glos in a match that brought plenty of tricks and a few treats to the pitch. South Glos started with a supernatural surge, dominating the first half as they scored goal after goal, seeming almost possessed. The Wick defence worked hard, but South Glos’s relentless attacks left the score line haunting at halftime 6-0.
However, Wick came out in the second half ready to rise from the grave. Determined to make their mark, they pushed forward with renewed spirit, battling through every challenge. Their persistence paid off when Bella broke free and fired a powerful shot past the keeper, scoring Wick’s sole but well-earned goal and igniting cheers from the Wick and supporters.
In the end, South Glos took the win with a chilling 6-1 final score, but Wick’s late rally showed the fight that lives on in the team. On this Halloween day, Wick may not have claimed victory, but they certainly showed their strengths!
