Before our matches this weekend, Wick Ladies Hockey Club paused for a two minute silence ahead of Remembrance Day on Sunday. Remembrance Day is important for us all at WLHC as we take time to remember and thank those who gave their lives, past and present, so we can have the opportunities and lives that we live today.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
